The Boongaree area (previously known as Berry District Park) is situated on the northern edge of the township of Berry. The new sports field provides a variety of sporting and recreation activities forthe local community andvisitors.
CHRISP Consulting undertook all masterplanning, sports field consultation, civil and stormwater design to detailed design in accordance with feedback obtained by the community and local government agencies.
Key features of our scope involved:
Balanced earthworks was a high priority for this project to reduce construction costs and affectation of flood storage volumes. Extensive subsoil drainage was necessary as the sports field site was positioned on low-lying land.
